    Looking Ahead

The major indexes moved higher over the past week, as of Thursday's close, but the U.S. economy remains on shaky ground. Next week, traders will be watching a number of key economic events, including the FOMC minutes and industrial production data on February 18th and jobless claims on February 19th. In particular, the Fed's interest rate decisions could be a key driver of the markets moving into next week.
