SodaStream in talks to go private for around $40 per share, Bloomberg says
SodaStream is in talks with an investment firm on transaction that would make it a private company and value it at about $828M, or $40 per share, according to Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter. "Several" private-equity funds have been looking at SodaStream as a candidate for a leveraged buyout, according to one source cited in the report. Shares of SodaStream are up about 20% to $34.53 following Bloomberg's report.
